Key moves that helped transform the site into a sophisticated and intimate dining room and bar include the installation of a large-scale awning, bespoke window shutters, reorganisation of the reception lobby and ground floor dining room and the use of a rich muted palette of materials and colours. Dusky grey walls are set against characterful oak parquet flooring in the restaurant. A generous leather banquette flanks one long wall, offering views to the terrace and street beyond. Black ash timber dining chairs are paired with sharp white tablecloths and bespoke copper lights are suspended overhead.

Cloaked in deep blue walls, with an oak panelled counter and characterful vintage seating to relax into, the first floor bar will become a hideaway destination by night.
