Universal Design Studio created the interior of the new flagship Nicole Farhi store, Conduit Street, London. The shop takes over a prominent six-storey corner 7000 sq ft building to showcase fashion and lifestyle collections.

The store design is the first collaboration between Universal Design Studio and Nicole Farhi. Inspired by Nicole’s love of early 20th Century furniture and French architecture, the concept proposed a restrained, sophisticated and structured interior scheme that reflects the Nicole Farhi world within a modern building.
The interior has been stripped back to expose original coffered ceilings. In the centre, the grey oak and glass staircase, is encased within a light, clear floor-to-ceiling glass cabinet wall on one side and contrasted by a solid grey-marbled concrete wall on the other side, linking all three floors.
